LightEdge Solutions is currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our team. We are looking for an individual to work within our team of Solution Architects in the Product Development group to support the sales & product strategy of our Cloud & Bare Metal Compute services. Duties will include support of the sales and product organizations in driving new revenue growth in our Cloud & Infrastructure Services.
This individual will also assist in the strategic planning of the product roadmap and direction of our Services strategy. They will also assist sales and sales engineering in pre-sales solutioning, and post-sales implementations & escalation support related to product definition.

Maintains and represents the LightEdge Cloud & Infrastructure services portfolio.
Assist sales organization in pre-sales support and complex solution selling around LightEdge Cloud, LightEdge Bare Metal, and Public Cloud services.
Meet with Customers to support sales and understand functional requirements. Approximately 35% time spent traveling to meet with customers, vendors, and partners.
Drive innovation in product strategy and future roadmap with product engineering design group.
Create, maintain, and support service definition of Cloud and Bare Metal services portfolio.
Act as an escalation point for complex or large sales for sales engineering group.
Function as liaison between Operations, Product Engineering (PE) and Product Development (PD) teams when new products and technologies are brought to market.
Work closely with Managed Service
Technical evangelist and Subject Matter Expert for LightEdge Cloud & Infrastructure services.
Develop and nurture sales strategy with partners to increase LightEdge market share in following areas:
Bare Metal or Dedicated Infrastructure Solutions
Complex solution sizing & quoting (such as big data or dedicated infrastructure designs)
Large opportunity partner management (discounts, new architectures, solution sizing & quoting)
Edge compute solutions
Alternate compute architectures (such as GPU or ARM compute)
Partner channel development for specialized & large-scale compute opportunities (such as NVIDIA or Pivotal)
Specialty low latency storage & data architectures for large data analytics needs (converged solutions, VxRack)
Works closely with LightEdge or external data center resources for specialized or larger scale compute opportunities.
Public Cloud Solutions
Partner development with Azure/AWS
Resale/CSP program development
On-prem solutions (Azure Stack, AWS Outposts)
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related industry experience preferred.
5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations.
3+ years supporting sales organization in selling complex, infrastructure or cloud-centric solutions or services.
Experience designing and supporting complex infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers.
Experience developing and managing partner sales strategy preferred.
Experience with public cloud IaaS and related microservices.
Familiarity with Public Cloud direct networking technologies such as ExpressRoute and DirectConnect preferred.
Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to changes in technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for work in a collaborative team environment.
