The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) has an opening for a Systems Analyst II or III who has a solid understanding of Linux system administration and web services. This is a full-time continuous position being offered at a level II or III dependent on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.

As a systems analyst, you will:
- Install servers
- Automate processes
- Debug code/scripts
- Identify issues across the hardware/software/network stack
- Deploy and update websites
- Solve interoperability issues across platforms
- Recommend and support current and legacy technology to meet the needs of instruction and research in the college as a member of the LAS Infrastructure and Research IT Services (IRIS) team.
- Provide expertise and support to other LAS technicians and campus researchers
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Strong interest in problem solving
- Good writing and oral communications skills
- A demonstrated ability to work with staff, faculty, and students to support the information technology needs of end users in a one-on-one or group environment
Minimum Requirements:
- Systems Analyst II: High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of related experience (PS809)
- Systems Analyst III: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience (PS810)
