- Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows.
- Define systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
- Define technical standards or functionality tests; may develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides.
- Rely on extensive development and integration experience (5+ years) and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- May provide consultation on complex projects and be considered a top-level contributor/specialist in the company. Lead and direct the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Must strive to expand professional and personal skills through a variety of assigned activities and individual efforts.
- Work closely with other team members (internal and external) and project managers to accomplish company, client and personal goals.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and fluency in web service standards such as WSSE and technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST) is a must
- 5+ years XML, XSL, Web Services & Web Service Security, and API management
- J2EE, Relational Databases, queuing desirable An understanding of software design patterns and methodology
- Prior significant experience leading, designing, and implementing integration solutions
- Good communication skills, analytical ability, good judgment and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal staff
