We’re looking for a highly knowledgeable, detailed and energetic Manager, Data Engineering & Reporting to join our Information Technology team!
Under direct supervision of the Director, Application Delivery, the Manager, Data Engineering & Reporting will lead a dynamic team to ensure the effective development, maintenance, and optimization of data infrastructure and reporting solutions.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines and ETL processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and tools to enhance data engineering capabilities.
- Develop and implement reporting and analytics strategies to support business objectives. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports and dashboards to stakeholders. Collaborate with business users to define reporting requirements and KPIs.
- Define and maintain a scalable and efficient data architecture.
- Ensures that the appropriate people are informed of activities and progress made relative to milestones or tasks. Presents and discusses solution designs at levels of the organization, adjusting communication style appropriately.
- Manages, coaches, and mentors team members toward desired team culture, level of excellence, and work quality and efficiency. Ensures their adherence to standards. Supports team by advocating on their behalf.
