Heartland AEA has a full-time Technical Support Specialist position available immediately, based in the Johnston Regional Education Center, serving in an agency-wide capacity. This position will collaborate with the Internal Technology Team to provide technical assistance and support for agency hardware and software systems. The scope includes but may not be limited to: computers, copiers, printers, personal computing devices, audio/video equipment and conferencing systems.
Applicants must have a 2 or 4-year degree in a technology related field or 3-5 years of comparable experience. Applicants must have experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Macintosh and Windows computer software and hardware with an emphasis on the Macintosh platform, as well as have a basic understanding of and experience with local area networking. Preferred applicants should have experience supporting audio/visual equipment, as well as video conferencing systems. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
