Senior Full Stack Developer

RESPONSIBITIES

  • Develop and maintain web applications using industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Contribute to the overall software architecture and design.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability through efficient coding and database design.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in PHP development and apply them to improve our systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ year’s experience in full stack development.
  • Strong proficiency in Laravel, Node, and React.
  • Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, design systems, and component libraries.
  • Experience working with databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL, and optimizing data retrieval.
  • Expertise with version control systems like Git.
  • You have used Docker, written automated tests, and deployed code using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to debug complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • You are a clear communicator with the ability to explain, argue, and convince a wide cross-section of stakeholders about your ideas.

LOCATION & WORK SCHEDULE:

  • This position will be based out of our Corporate Office in Johnston, Iowa. A hybrid work schedule is available for this position.
