    Position Overview
    The CRM Systems Administrator/IT Team Leader will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between the Foundation’s technology systems and the
    marketing and fundraising functions. This position ensures that Foundation technology systems run efficiently and effectively. Additionally, this role is critical to ensuring our data is accurate, accessible and operational both for internal teams as well as our members. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background, have the ability to lead a small team to manage routine CRM processes, data entry and web development functions, and develop a team that acts as a training resource for Foundation management and staff users.

    Responsibilities
    Motivated by the mission of the Iowa PBS Foundation, the CRM Systems Administrator/IT Team Leader is responsible for CRM maintenance and performance, data integrity and data security of the Iowa PBS Foundation, hardware, software, and API systems. The CRM Systems Administrator/IT Team Leader works closely with the several team member (ex: data entry, Web development) to ensure functionality and accuracy of IT/CRM database and front/back-end web related systems. This position is responsible for storing, organizing, manipulating, using and reporting data that informs the staff and helps them fulfill the Foundation’s mission.
    The CRM Systems Administrator/IT Team Leader ensures that the CRM database, web development, API and desktop systems are fully functional and up-to-date to support marketing and fundraising campaigns.

    Duties
     Identify, develop, and implement CRM requirements
     Assist senior management in the creation of strategic goals and objectives for CRM use, security, and data integrity
     Work collaboratively with Foundation management and end-users to identify the need for process automation and development of business rules

  • Iowa PBS Foundation
     Administer the CRM database and ensure secure organizational data, prevent legal and compliance risk, monitor and maintain data driven applications to perform their best and minimize downtime, and manage backup and disaster recovery
     Extract data and generate reports from the CRM database to facilitate data analysis by senior management and staff users
     Promote consistency in Foundation CRM database system by managing and improving data integrity, data analysis, and data stewardship
     Maintain CRM and other database credentials and monitoring user access and security; maintaining user profiles and login credentials; and controlling security access permissions
     Troubleshoot CRM database system and user hardware to resolve problems, and coordinate with Iowa PBS IT and CRM vendor support staff to resolve issues
     Develop, implement and test back-up and recovery plans
     Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly
     Setup and maintain CRM database tables and administrator functions
     Perform routine maintenance tasks on CRM database to maintain reliability and dependability
     Produce and distribute management analysis reports as requested
     Perform data runs for direct mail, telemarketing, email, social media, and miscellaneous solicitation methods
     Process credit card and EFT payments;
     Promote administrative efficiencies relating to operation and maintenance of Foundation IT systems
     Assess computer requirements and implement computer asset life cycle
     Work collaboratively with the senior data entry and web development specialists to identify
    training needs and develop training resources for senior management and staff
     Work collaboratively with senior data entry specialist to develop documentation for management/staff users on routine reporting/data pulls
     Though infrequent, this person will be required to lift items weighing more than 10 pounds, securing connections under desks or other tight spaces, and work extended hours or nontraditional office hours.
     Other related duties as assigned

    Required/Desirable Qualifications
     Minimum three years of CRM database operations experience
     Must have a thorough understanding of database languages
     Must have experience in writing and optimizing SQL
     SQL server and computer hardware/software experience
     Must have HTML and backend web development experience
     An understanding of networking equipment such as switches, firewalls and access points
     Bachelor’s degree in Database Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or
    related field or equivalent experience
     Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive manner
     Understanding of common concepts related to print media
