Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our small, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in deploying secure full-stack web applications to AWS, proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, CI/CD, GraphQL, and DynamoDB, with a strong interest and/or experience in Gen AI technology. Additionally, data engineering experience with Python is considered a valuable asset.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable full-stack web applications on AWS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and efficient solutions.
- Develop and maintain new user-facing features in React applications.
- Implement and maintain APIs (GraphQL) for seamless data retrieval and manipulation.
- Implement and maintain automated testing suites at all layers of the application.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment processes.
- Develop and optimize database schemas and queries using DynamoDB and other cloud-native data stores.
- Actively participate in the development and integration of Gen AI technologies into our platform.
- Take ownership of features from ideation to implementation, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where innovation and agility are paramount.
- Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and keeping up with the rapid development of Gen AI tooling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience deploying full-stack web applications securely to AWS.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with modern frameworks such as React.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with relevant tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with GraphQL and its implementation in a production environment.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB.
- Strong automated testing background across all layers of the testing pyramid.
- Interest and/or experience in Gen AI technology is highly desirable.
- Data engineering and Python experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Self-directed with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
- Ownership mentality with a focus on quality and security.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry is preferred but not required.
