As Sales Engineer you will work closely with the sales team, leadership team and clients to drive revenue by preparing and delivering solution-based product presentations.  This role will demonstrate BeyondReach products and services while explaining technical features, providing supporting materials and problem-solving through potential client roadblocks.  The Sales Engineer must have exceptional technical knowledge and be able to demonstrate and articulate a vision.

What You’ll Accomplish and Experience

  • Serve as the key technical point of contact for new business opportunities driving technical solutions, attending opportunity discussions, and delivering technical presentations.
  • Prepare and deliver solution-based product presentations.
  • Design and create customer network/solution diagrams.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to meet client business requirements.
  • Train and mentor sales team on technical material and products.
  • Deliver content to marketing to create whitepapers, collateral and external training material.
  • Remain current with changing technologies while generating creative solutions to gain efficiencies and productivity.
  • Coordinate and partner with service, engineering, and sales teams as well as with the client.

Desirable Previous Experience

  • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, and Ethernet connectivity.
  • Working knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, ICMP, SSH, LDAP, DNS.
  • Strong understanding of wireless technologies (Both line of site and non-line of site technologies).
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network design, Layer-2 connectivity, Internet, MPLS, SDWAN, fiber optics, microwave transmission, wireless mesh, and secure IP networking requirements including IPSec, GRE, SSL and VPN technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of CPE options to deliver CCR’s Product Portfolio.
  • Experience working with multi-vendor infrastructure.
  • Hands on experience developing, migrating, maintaining and troubleshooting telecom networks.
  • Strong negotiating skills to obtain best prices, terms, and conditions, including one-time and long-term contract purchases, including preparing purchase orders and placing orders.
  • Strong grasp of IT security protocols, processes and best practices.
  • Solid IT background and experience in development of IT service solutions.
  • Procurement experience required.
