Location: West Des Moines, IA

Terms: 12 weeks, full-time flexible 37.5 hours/week, in-office

Pay: $25/hour

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with Business Leaders: Partner with key stakeholders to identify and address BI and analytics needs, helping to drive strategic decisions.
  • Develop and Implement Solutions: Work with a team of 6 experienced developers to design and deploy BI solutions, creating impactful dashboards and data models.
  • Contribute to Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and maintain the integrity of our analytics codebase.
  • Support and Troubleshoot: Address and resolve business analytics issues, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Explore and Report: Analyze datasets to uncover trends and generate insightful reports that support business strategies.
  • Grow Your Skills: Gain hands-on experience with analytics tools and benefit from mentorship to advance your career in business analytics.

What Sets You Apart

  • Strong Academic Performance and Relevant Coursework – A proven commitment to excellence through your academic achievements, including coursework relevant to the role, such as Data Mining and Predictive Analytics, Business Statistics, and Programming for Data Analysis.
  • Technical Skills: You have experience in data modeling, SQL programming, and ETL development. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, R, predictive analytics, and machine learning is a plus.
  • Previous Work Experience – Work experience, in a corporate environment or not, that showcases your skills and work ethic.
  • Leadership and Initiative – Roles or projects where you’ve taken on leadership responsibilities, demonstrated creativity, and proactively addressed challenges.
  • Professional Development – Additional trainings, certifications, or workshops that enhance your qualifications.
