AI for Everyone: Insights on the Future of Work from a Top 1% User

APR. 7 / 9:45 AM - 10:15 AM / MINI KEYNOTE

About

Software engineering is the “leading edge” of AI adoption—a predictive model for the future of all business operations. But what happens when that same transformation hits legal, operations, and strategy?

Drawing on the “LLM OS” and “Software 3.0” frameworks (popularized by Andrej Karpathy) and a personal dataset of over 10,000 interactions (top 1% globally), this session moves beyond the hype to offer a grounded reality check. We will explore the strategic shift from using AI as a simple chatbot to deploying it as a new “operating system” that orchestrates tasks and tools for you. We will review current performance benchmarks to set realistic expectations for today’s models, while mapping out how these capabilities will inevitably scale beyond current digital boundaries. Attendees will discover how to transition from casual prompting to architecting workflows that massively scale output—regardless of technical background.

Takeaways

  1. The Reality Check: A grounded breakdown of what LLMs actually are, how we measure their performance (benchmarks), and a clear distinction between where they excel and where they currently struggle.
  2. The Leading Edge: Tracing the evolution from Software 1.0 to 3.0 to understand how AI is shifting from a tool we use to an entity that consumes our existing tools (browsers, editors) to surpass human speed.
  3. Extending the Edge: How orchestrating “fleets” of AI agents on top of existing digital ecosystems creates emergent capabilities, streamlining complex activities in ways traditional software automation never could.

Lean TECHniques

Nate Sepich is a Senior Software Engineer at Lean TECHniques, specializing in Generative AI infrastructure. With an MS in HCI and Industrial Engineering, Nate combines academic rigor with extreme practical application. In 2025 alone, he logged over 10,400 AI interactions, placing him in the top 1% of global users.
His background spans research at the Virtual Reality Application Center (collaborating with John Deere, Boeing and the Air Force Research Lab) and four years driving Enterprise AI initiatives at Collins Aerospace. Nate moves beyond the hype to focus on the mechanics of utility, arguing that the logic-based transformations currently reshaping software development are the blueprint for the future of all business operations.
