Tracey Akins is the Director of Shared Services at Wells Enterprises, bringing over 25 years of experience in finance, process automation, and analytics. Since joining the company in 2007, Tracey has made significant contributions to the organization.
In her role, Tracey leads a team responsible for managing transactional volume, scaling growth without compromising quality, and establishing a strong team culture. Her expertise in process enhancements, particularly those embracing technical solutions, has been instrumental in streamlining operations and ensuring efficiency. This dedication to continuous improvement is evident in her current role and her previous position as Director of Sales & Marketing Finance. With diverse experiences, Tracey has led teams in implementing processes for translation, new item introductions, Accounts Payable automation, eCommerce digital shelves, KPI development, M&A integrations, and financial systems.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Tracey is an executive sponsor of the employee resource group, Women of Wells, which aims to empower and support women in the workplace. Additionally, she serves on the board of directors for the Food Bank of Siouxland and was previously the Finance Chair on the board of directors for Heartland Counseling Services, demonstrating her commitment to community involvement and giving back. She has been recognized for her work with the Cardinal Parent Choice Award, Women of Excellence, and South Sioux City Community Pride Award for outstanding volunteer efforts.
Hannah Gray serves as the Director of Security + Compliance at Revology – a revenue cycle management firm based out of Iowa City, IA. Hannah champions the strategy, design, and continuous improvement for assigned Security and Compliance products and portfolios, which include: Information Security and Assurance; Identity and Access Management; and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) capabilities.
Hannah is an Army veteran who has served her time in technology across multiple capacities, both medical technology and cybersecurity, for over 15 years where she has worked in both small scale organizations and large enterprises leading change surrounding audits, policies and risk management.
John Unsen is Senior Vice President of Systems at VGM HOMELINK, a Waterloo Iowa based leading provider of integrated specialty services for workers compensation and group health. Prior to May 2023, John oversaw the strategic direction and operational leadership of systems and information technology for VGM Insurance. He has a deep background in website platform architecture, hosting and infrastructure, vendor management, business analytics, security, and creating technical standards across business divisions. John received his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa and MBA from Loras College. He is a 2023 graduate of the Iowa Technology Leadership Institute.
David is the Senior Director of Software Engineering at GlobalVetLink, a SaaS company founded in Ames, Iowa, that simplifies regulatory compliance for veterinarians. By automating animal health and movement documentation, GlobalVetLink helps veterinary professionals spend less time on paperwork and more time caring for animals. With over a decade of experience, David leads teams across Software Development, Quality Assurance, Delivery, and DevOps, driving innovation that enhances efficiency and reliability for veterinary practices nationwide.
Outside of his leadership role at GlobalVetLink, David founded MoreThanCoders.com, a platform dedicated to helping IT professionals bridge the gap between technical expertise and essential soft skills. Passionate about mentorship and practical problem-solving, he focuses on equipping software engineers with the skills needed to grow their careers.
