Q: How much is tuition?
A: Tuition for the Iowa Technology Leadership Institute is $3,500 for TAI members and $4,000 for non-members.

A: All session programming, one-on-one mentoring sessions, coursework, and meals, including a dinner or happy hour during each session. Registration to TAI’s Legislative Launch and Iowa Technology Summit are also included in the tuition. Participants are responsible for all travel and any lodging expenses.

A: Tuition must be paid in full by December 15, 2023.

A: All applicants will be notified of their selection status by early October 2023.

A: Yes, more than one person from a company may apply to participate in the same cohort.
Q: Is this program for technical professionals only?
A: The program is open to all professionals in the Iowa technology industry looking to broaden their understanding and level of influence, intending to advance into a leadership position.
Q: How many years of experience in technology do I need to be considered for this program?
A: The goal is to have a cohort with a diverse set and years of experience. The average minimum is 10-15 years of experience, with many cohort members having 20-30+ years of experience.
Q: How are applicants selected?
A: All applications are reviewed based on several criteria, including leadership potential, community engagement, and evaluated through an extensive selection process by a TAI Board of Directors sub-committee.
Q: Is attendance at all sessions required?
A: Attendance at all six sessions, the opening dinner, and the graduation reception are mandatory.
Q: Is there a virtual attendance option for ITLI sessions?
A: Currently, in-person attendance at all sessions is required. Should CDC or state health recommendations change, adjustments to this requirement will be made and communicated.
