Join the Technology Association of Iowa for a focused conversation on how artificial intelligence is reshaping Iowa’s economy and what’s next for growth and competitiveness. The AI Public Policy Forum and Legislative Reception brings together technology leaders, AI practitioners, lawmakers, and community partners to explore three connected priorities: the policy landscape emerging in statehouses across the country and DC, the workforce implications already taking shape, and the infrastructure demands accelerating alongside AI growth.

Moderated by Brian Waller, President of TAI, this panel will feature insights from Iowa technology executive Joe Riesberg (SVP & CIO, EMC Insurance Companies), national policy leader Jennifer G. Young (CEO, Technology Councils of North America), and data center manager Clay Allsop (Manager, Regional Data Centers, Google). Attendees can expect a practical discussion on how organizations are deploying AI today, what’s changing for skills and talent, how AI-driven demand is influencing data center expansion, and what a smart, competitive path forward can look like for Iowa.

A legislative reception will follow the forum, offering time to continue the conversation, learn more about TAI’s policy initiatives and build connections. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres provided.
