The 2021 Future Ready Iowa Summit: Transforming Education for the Workforce – brings together leaders from business and industry, education, nonprofits, elected officials, students and others to amplify the public conversation about connecting education and the workforce, with a focus on expanding work-based learning and computer science as critical aspects of STEM education.
REGISTRATION
Admission is free of charge. Free license renewal credit and substitute teacher reimbursement is available for practicing PreK-12 and informal educators.

RECEPTION
Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 5:30 to 7:30PM — A reception will be hosted for Summit attendees at the Iowa Events Center – Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center, 730 3rd Street, Des Moines, IA 50309.
AEA Credit
Educators are eligible to earn licensure renewal credit through the AEA Learning Online. Participants in the offered course will apply principles from the STEM Summit back in their school district. Participants will dig into community partnerships and authentic experiences to engage students in these opportunities. Participants will collaborate with other participants in the course to gain news ideas.
Requirements include:
- Participants must attend the STEM Summit on September 16, 2021.
- Participants must attend the initial course meeting at 2:15 PM in rooms 306-309 immediately following the STEM Summit.
- Participants must complete course registration, available during the initial course meeting.
