DES MOINES, Iowa (December 19, 2022) – Last month, Iowa’s technology industry celebrated remarkable achievements in technology innovation at the 2022 Prometheus Awards in Des Moines. The evening was highlighted by the UHY Impact Award, which annually recognizes and honors an individual or organization that significantly impacts Iowa’s technology culture’s growth, success, and sustainability.  The award was presented to Dave Tucker, Partner at Next Level Ventures this year.

For two decades, Dave has made an impact on the growth, success, and sustainability of Iowa’s technology culture. Throughout his career, Dave focused his work on guiding the development of products, people, and culture at many technology companies, but he focused especially on community building. He has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Iowa and the Ames Chamber of Commerce. He also holds positions on the boards of Ames Seed Capital, Ames Economic Development Commission, and Healthy Birth Day dot org, a non-profit serving expectant mothers.
