Connect Professionals
Networking with peers, sharing ideas, and solving problems together is what continues to strengthen and grow the Iowa tech industry. Central to TAI’s mission is to deliver valuable events throughout the state to unite Iowa’s technology industry and its leaders.
TAI hosts over 100 events each year across the state of Iowa for members and all those who love tech. Below are the signature TAI events.
What we do
Develop Iowa's Future Workforce
Access to talent is often the largest challenge facing Iowa’s technology industry. TAI has several initiatives and programs in place to build the talent pipeline from encouraging the next generation to pursue technology education and careers, to creatively transitioning incumbent workers to technology roles. TAI also partners with the State of Iowa and communities throughout Iowa to execute robust campaigns recruiting talent to Iowa.
What we do
Drive Public Policy
TAI advocates for policies that support innovation, technology education and initiatives that grow Iowa’s technology economy. With member input, TAI develops an annual policy agenda and leverages statewide networks to connect with and educate policy-makers. We then partner with legislative liaisons to drive policy initiatives and represent our membership throughout the year.

Foster Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
A diverse technology workforce is critical to the long-term success of Iowa’s technology industry. All Iowans deserve equal opportunities to participate in the innovation economy. TAI seeks to build a network of employers, educators, and mentors who actively advocate for a diverse technology workforce.
