2011 Women of Innovation

On Thursday, November 17, 2011, the Technology Association of Iowa will present the fourth annual Iowa Women of Innovation event at the Hy-Vee Conference Center in West Des Moines. The Iowa Women of Innovation is an awards presentation that elevates and celebrates today’s extraordinary women. The event will be dedicated to recognizing women who are leaders in science, technology, engineering or math. Students at both the secondary (grades 7-12) and college levels will also be recognized.

We are excited to announce that this year, in addition to the awards celebration, we will offer, in collaboration with the IWLC, a full day of programming. The day kicks off at 11:30 with the IWLC Luncheon. An afternoon conference and student session follow, with the WOI reception, dinner and awards capstoning the day. See the full schedule below.

IWLC Leadership Luncheon with Betsy Myers. $75
Betsy Myers has held executive leadership positions in the public sector for more than two decades. Myers served as a Senior Advisor and COO to Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign and as Executive Director of the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of her new book, "Take the Lead".
