Jim Borendame has responsibly for Mainframe/ Midrange and Related Storage, Open Systems, Open Systems Storage Data Center Management, Data Center Programs, Satellite Data Center Programs and Integrated Domain Management. His past responsibilities include legacy Wachovia’s data center facilities, distributed server engineering, enterprise data management, engineering, practices, services and strategies, storage engineering and management and z/OS (mainframe) engineering. Borendame has 30 years of IT management experience in a variety of industries. Before joining Wachovia, he was head of JPMorgan Chase’s Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) Production Support organization. Previously to that, Jim’s career included responsibility for the creation and operation of a geo-diverse Enterprise Command Center function for Bank One, head of operations for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Director of Infrastructure for Montgomery Ward and Director of systems software for International Harvester.D37
