MidAmerican Energy Company
Tom Budler has been MidAmerican Energy Company or one of its predecessor companies since 1987 and currently serves as it General Manager of Wind Development. His responsibilities include the development, construction, and operation of the company’s 1,284.3 megawatts of wind generation. Prior to his current position, Tom had operational management responsibilities for combined electric and gas service centers in Sioux City, Bettendorf, and Des Moines. In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s he had project management responsibilities for large generation and transmission construction projects. Tom graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and am a registered professional engineer in Iowa.
