Sean McKeown, is IT Director of Oracle Global IT Service Operations, and has recently moved into a new role responsible for all Major Incident and Problem Management for the Global IT Service Operations team at Oracle. This team supports data center infrastructure services to enable Oracle’s internal business operations, as well as their external customer solution offerings, such as Oracle On Demand, CRM On Demand and Oracle University. In previous roles Sean had been responsible for Oracle's US Backup and Storage Data Center Operations teams, Change Management for Oracle Global IT, and served as IT Director of Oracle's Rocky Mountain Data Center in Colorado Springs, CO. Sean has 14 years of IT experience focusing on production data center management, Unix systems administration, storage management, backup and recovery, ITIL-based change management, and Oracle database administration. Sean has a M.S. in astrophysics from Northwestern University and a B.S. in physics and theology from Georgetown University.
