LWBJ Financial announces that Marv Debner has been elected Managing Partner. Debner will lead the firm as it continues to expand on its core services.
LWBJ Financial, LLC announced today that the Partner group has elected Marvin Debner, CPA, as the firm’s Managing Partner. Debner will lead LWBJ’s effort to continue expanding on its core services. Prior to joining LWBJ Financial, as a Senior Partner in 2007, Debner was the Managing Partner in the Des Moines office of Deloitte and Touche.
LWBJ Financial has sold its Premier Wealth Division, including insurance sales and investment management services, to the division’s President, Ben Renzo. LWBJ Founding Partner Dave Watson commented, “We will maintain mutual clients and a great working relationship with Ben and his team. In another move, LWBJ's Capital Advisors Division has formed its own broker/dealer to further expand in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and capital raises in its Investment Banking Practice. LWBJ Capital Advisors will also be bringing on Strategic Advisors Jim Eiler and Jim Mackay to better serve our clients. Jim Eiler, formerly of Cybus Capital Markets is a proven sales, marketing, and management leader in investment banking, commercial banking, and financial services. Jim Mackay brings LWBJ over 20 years of independent consulting in the areas of venture capital, commercial and investment banking, investment management, corporate finance and investment brokerage. Jim was formerly with DeWaay Financial where he led the investment banking division.
