The Tech Association continues to do an excellent job of bringing a sense of community to the IT industry in Iowa and to serve as its voice. Its forums, informational sessions and educational opportunities provide real tangible benefits for its members, especially for small and medium size companies. TAI has established itself as a leader in educating and supporting our government and public leaders as they develop and implement policies that foster not only the growing Iowa technology sector but also Iowa's overall economy.

TAI supports our high tech business in rural Iowa by understanding our needs and communicating them to the proper constituents, including creating awareness of Caleris among state legislators. TAI has been there for Caleris.

TAI provides a sounding board for solving the challenges created in our industry. Building long-term relationships within the industry is very important for our long term success. There is no other organization in Iowa with the goals, objectives and connections to promote and market the technical industry.

Genova joined the Technology Association of Iowa for the great networking opportunities it provides. We’ve maintained our membership because it has also been a wonderful resource for discounted products and services and a technology knowledge base. We’ve also had the chance to work and partner with other technical firms across the state that might not have been possible without TAI.

QCI has worked with TAI since its inception and views TAI’s advocacy role as critical for our industry. TAI successfully blends a difficult mix of constituent concerns with its own skills and its strong government ties to help drive meaningful initiatives. Additionally, TAI’s skills in advocating our industry to our State’s legislature and its strong ties to IDED has resulted in initiatives, backed by our State’s leaders, that will help improve Iowa’s technology ecosystem. Whether you are a pure technology firm in Iowa, a technology organization within a business in Iowa, or technology firm located outside of Iowa doing business in the State, I strongly encourage you to become a member and support the industry.

Spindustry Systems has belonged to the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI) since the inception of our company. We have always enjoyed the camaraderie of the organization and the opportunities to meet other leaders in the industry. In the last few years TAI’s legislative efforts have provided new momentum and gave the technology industry a voice on the hill. TAI’s new direction will continue to increase our visibility and truly make Iowa a leading technology state.
